We took the family to a fish fry this weekend and we had a great time. Gavin was determined to catch a large mouth bass. He fished all afternoon with no luck. Mikayla caught a small Blue Gill and Jana caught a small frog (in a cup). It was getting close to dinner and our hosts had started cleaning the fish. I took Jana and a fishing rod to the other side of the lake and just thru out a cast. I reeled in my line and just as my lure got to the edge my hook caught on something. It made my pole bent in half and then it started wiggling all over the place. I pulled in a 2.5 pound large mouth bass. It was the largest catch of the day. After showing it off I turned it over to be cleaned and tried again. After my second cast I caught another but smaller Large mouth bass, still worthy of eating. 15 min. Later, still in the same lucky fishing spot, I caught my 3rd fish. It was too small to eat but I was up on Gavin 3-0. After dinner Gavin finally caught a tiny fish that he released and then caught this one. (it is about the same size as my 2nd fish, the smaller one). It really was a fun day of fishing for the whole family.

Blossoms
Here is Gavin in side the biggest tree of blossoms we've ever seen......
Here is the tree from the outside. Notice how small the people look that are standing beside the tree.
The flowers on that tree were very big and beautiful

MMMmmm....Chocolate!
MMMMmmmmm......Chocolate!!! After a long week without dad, we were all glad to see him return home from Belgium. I discovered it was well worth the wait when I had my first taste of the chocolate he brought us. This is a box of dark squares that are samples of chocolate from 8 different countries. The country where the cocoa beans are from is written on the square in white. These are from a store called Pierre Marcolini and are about 70-80% cocoa. Very bitter yet amazing!
